A perfect commotion

A Perfect Commotion è un lavoro di Chiaralice Rizzi composto da cinque fotoincisioni che rappresentano paesaggi impossibili, costruiti come collage di fotografie e disegni dell’artista e di suo padre. Le immagini nascono da un reciproco e perfetto tumulto, da un dialogo a una voce che interroga il rapporto tra memoria, rappresentazione e assenza. In questi paesaggi si riflette sulla possibilità di ritrovarsi attraverso l’immagine, sulla natura delle tracce del passato e sui meccanismi che uniscono esperienza e ricordo, restituendo luoghi dove l’essere insieme è già abbastanza.

A Perfect Commotion is a work by Chiaralice Rizzi consisting of five photogravures that depict impossible landscapes, built as collages of photographs and drawings by the artist and her father. The images arise from a reciprocal and perfect tumult, a one-voice dialogue that questions the relationship between memory, representation, and absence. These landscapes reflect on the possibility of reunion through the image, on the nature of traces from the past, and on the mechanisms that connect experience and memory, creating places where being together is already enough.
